Viviane de Beaufort is a highly respected Professor who is listened to attentively by executives and leaders. With a background in political science, she holds a doctorate in European Union law. She has been a professor at Essec for 30 years, following her experience in public affairs in Brussels.

As an advisor and expert to European and French public authorities, as well as various organizations, and active in numerous think tanks and professional networks, she leads the European Center for Law and Economics. In this role, she addresses administrators and executive committees, discussing responsible governance in both the public and corporate sectors.

Viviane de Beaufort was awarded the Knight of Merit in 2011 and the Knight of the Legion of Honor in 2018.

Her vision is thought-provoking, her insights clarify strategies, and her advice is invaluable. She goes beyond that: having founded the Women Board Ready Essec at the time of the Zimmermann law, which prepares women executives to take on top leadership positions in companies, Viviane de Beaufort studies the professional aspirations of these women and offers a unique perspective because they share an enlightened view of the new responsibilities of boards.
