Sought-after keynotes with Pep Rosenfeld
- Improve your leadership with humour – In this entertaining and interactive keynote, Pep draws on his experience at Boom Chicago, the Amsterdam comedy institution he co-founded thirty years ago, to help you and your business become more fun. Expertly blending science, trivia, and comedy, Pep explains how and why you should apply Boom Chicago’s philosophy, “Humour Makes Business Better,” in your workplace. Why is humour beneficial for strengthening bonds within your team? How can laughter increase their happiness, well-being and commitment? How can humour facilitate communication? And what techniques can you start using now to make your teams and co-workers laugh, all the while ensuring that laughter helps build a positive and inclusive office culture?
- Leadership lessons from 20 years of business events – Pep Rosenfeld, as co-founder of the Boom Chicago comedy theater in Amsterdam, is a much loved and sought after event host. In this talk, he shares the leadership lessons he has acquired over two decades of experience as a facilitator. Among these teachings, we find principles such as: giving importance to the little things because they matter to the team, striving to live its values rather than rewriting them every two years, cultivating a sense of humour, being there for the team, and prioritizing emotional connection rather than relying exclusively on PowerPoint. In short: to lead as an individual, and not as a simple “leader”.
- Think Like a Comedian – In this interactive talk, Pep teaches you, your team or external stakeholders how to adopt a comedian’s point of view to make your message, arguments or strategy more engaging and accessible. He will share techniques to help you see a situation from a humourous angle and spot what can be funny. You’ll also learn to pay attention to details no one else notices and discover the comedic side as you make connections between the everyday and the seemingly disparate. While this keynote doesn’t guarantee you a spot on Netflix, it will definitely boost your creativity and communication skills by showing you how to use humour effectively to be more successful in your projects.
Pep Rosenfeld organizes high-stakes events for companies such as Ahold, KPMG, Oracle and Heineken, where he excels at injecting a touch of humour and energy into serious events. It guides groups through interactive activities based on improvisation, which breaks the ice, fosters more effective collaboration within teams, and reinforces messages, values and strategies in a way that is both impactful and entertaining.
