Philippe Boulanger is an innovation technologist with a doctorate in computer sciences. An entrepreneur at heart, he has been a part of numerous “startups” such as IBM, the SAGEM group, Apple at the time of Steve Jobs’ return, Sony and more recently Neopost (now Quadient). In his latest C-level role, he supervises more than 1,100 R&D personnel spread across 20 sites around the world.
Philippe is the mentor / advisor of several carefully curated startups. He is a partner and mentor in the venture capital fund Senseii Ventures. With more than 30 years of field experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, his combined knowledge of the startup and business ecosystems is one of his most formidable assets. Consequently, Philippe aids top management teams in their innovation and business transformation projects.

Philippe holds a Doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis. Roland Moreno, the famous inventor of the chip card, honoured Philippe by being his doctoral thesis rapporteur. Driven by his passion for sharing and in the spirit of giving back to the community, Philippe also works at HEC and other schools.
Philippe Boulanger is also an “Executive Coach” and supports business leaders and upper management in an effort to propagate innovation. He is the creator of a guiding concept called Innovational Intelligence®.

Recognized by his peers for the quality of his oratory skills, Philippe was elected President of the AFCP (French Association of Professional Speakers) for the 2020-2023 term. He is also a director of the GSF (Global Speakers Federation) and a member of the NSA (National Speakers Association, USA).
Philippe’s masterclass, “Developing your potential: creativity and innovation”, was selected in 2023 by LinkedIn Learning.
