Robin Teigland, professor of digital transformation at Chalmers University of Technology and member of the Academy of Engineering Sciences, IVA. Robin has been called Sweden’s Start up professor and one of the most influential women in technology. Right now, she also leads the noted Peniche Ocean Watch Initiative, where circular economy, clean seas and digitization are the hub for innovations and new employment.

As an “impact” entrepreneur, she works to develop a blue circular economy in Peniche, Portugal. The Peniche Ocean Watch Initiative (POW) drives global best practices for a blue circular economy, regional rejuvenation and innovation through digitization and knowledge sharing.
Before Chalmers, she was a professor of business administration with a focus on strategy and digitization at the Stockholm School of Economics. Robin is the School of Economics’ sixth female professor since its founding in 1909. She is often interviewed about her research in Swedish and international media and is an internationally sought-after speaker. On several occasions she has been listed as one of the Global Top 50 Business Professors on twitter.
