Séverine Servat is a journalist, screenwriter and author. Passionate about current events, accustomed to television sets, she masters the art of storytelling which invites speakers to an inspiring narration. Her know-how consists of putting subjects into perspective, raising questions, distributing the floor while avoiding the pitfall of clichés, to favor listening and attention. All with a touch of humor. No question of getting bored… Any debate is an opportunity to feed the reflection, to give birth to a desire, an action and, why not, to stimulate the imagination for the world of tomorrow.
Passed through literary preparatory classes for Ivy Leagues schools, graduated with a DEA in history and a Master’s degree in communication and marketing from ESCP, former professor in Master’s degree at the Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme de Paris, author of six books, Séverine Servat favors the field to understand the era. Signature of the people and women’s press, through numerous interviews with personalities who make the news, it is in direct contact with the evolution of trends and new societal issues treated from an editorial angle.
Her favorite subjects, personally? The promotion of gender equality; knowledge-cultivating one’s curiosity; image and crisis management; resilience as a driver of success; methods for verifying sources of information; the pleasure of storytelling. But also fulfillment through respect for the environment or ecology as an ally of the future.
On a daily basis, Séverine enjoys swimming, following various sports tutorials and taking long walks all over the world with a particular interest in New York, where she lived, and Tokyo.
