Denis Jacquet<\/strong> (HEC 89, Master in Business Law and Tax).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Started as a tax lawyer with Baker & Mackenzie in NYC. Launched his first company in 93 at the age of 27. Made a success of it. Acquired a declining leading distance education company in France and revamped it, turned it international.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He became a pioneer of the e-learning market. International development has been the key factor for EduFactory success. EduFactory became one of the only French training companies with a presence in more than 8 countries. He spent 10 years living abroad (Morocco and USA) to develop the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in France in 2010 Denis thought that we could help other SMBs to do likewise and started Parrainer la Croissance-PLC (Mentor the Growth)<\/strong>. A network of 4000 entrepreneurs dedicated to international growth, but also lobbying, access to investment and press.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2016 Denis and G.Leclercq launched the UBERIZATION OBSERVATORY<\/a>, a \u201cThink and Do\u201d Tank aimed at analyzing the impact of this tsunami at every level of our societies. The objective is to think instead of catching up with the crazy pace the digital is setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is now the founder of the Day One Movement<\/a><\/strong> designed to show how using technologies to have a positive impact and anticipate the changes. Day One Movement is composed of a Club, a Foundation, Events (4 worldwide) and Work Groups gathering 60 international companies and institutions dedicated to turning change into progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2022, he founded the company Top Cream, a “Netflix” for the best conferences around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investor <\/strong>in more than 10 start-up (biotech, tech, digital, bakery, consumer goods, NFT, Mining..)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SOS SAHEL<\/strong>. Chairman USA of one of the largest and most experienced NGO in the Sahel Region. Working and supporting sustainable projects throughout 11 mostly African countries. 500 employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 book released in november 2016 on Uberization (Dunod). On the 20 list of best sales for 2016\/2017. Awarded of the Turgot Price by Jean Tirole, Nobel Price of Economy in February and various other prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A second book released in 2019, \u00ab Why your next boss will be Chinese? (Eyrolles). Now translated worldwide in Chinese (2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most recent is \u00ab Covid: D\u00e9but de la Peur, fin d\u2019une d\u00e9mocratie \u00bb. Eyrolles (France). May 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denis also wrote the preface for Xavier Milin\u2019s book on \u201chow to do a business plan to raise money\u201d (2018) and on \u201ca disconnected life\u201d by Coco de la Charri\u00e8re (Oct. 2019) and an upcoming book by Pascal Picq on Remote work.<\/p>\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
